Below are some reasons why your check deposit may be rejected, Aleksandra.

First, could you please provide the exact error code or message you received?

When a check deposit is rejected, Intuit will send you an email containing a reference code, explaining the reason for the rejection, and outlining the next steps.

Your check deposit may be rejected for reasons beyond name matching and endorsement, such as:

  • The check amount exceeds your mobile deposit limit.
  • The check image is unclear or missing corners.
  • The issuing bank returned the check or disputed it.
  • You may not be fully eligible for mobile check deposit.

To ensure you meet the requirements for successfully depositing a check, you can read this article: Find out more about mobile check deposit.

Please check your email for any rejection notices from Intuit. If your deposit is rejected, Intuit usually attempts to resubmit the check. If it's still unsuccessful, you can contact the check writer or try depositing the check elsewhere.

Let us know if you have any further concerns.
