How can I upload bank information further back in time?

I apparently chose only to look at this year's transactions, but I would like to pull last year's transactions from my bank as well.

To upload older bank transactions (e.g., from last year) into QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can manually import them using a CSV file or connect your bank account if your bank supports longer historical downloads. Manually Upload Past Bank Transactions (CSV Upload). If you already connected your bank and didn’t choose the correct date range, disconnect the bank and reconnect it with the full range (if your bank allows). Avoid duplicate entries by checking for overlap when importing CSV files. You can always exclude duplicates during the review stage in QBO.

You can usually adjust the date range in your bank feed settings or re-connect the account and select a longer date range. Some banks limit how far back you can import, so you might need to manually upload last year’s transactions using a CSV file.

You can upload your older bank transactions in QuickBooks Online using a CSV file, npr-now.

To begin, log in to your bank's website. Then, download your transactions in a CSV file. Once completed, we can proceed with the following steps to import them into QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the My apps menu, then click Accounting.
  2. Within the Bank transactions tab, click the Link account dropdown arrow. Then, select Upload from file.
  3. Click on Upload from this device and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, click Continue.

  4. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
