    I purchased online and have not been given license or product number

    The installation numbers (license and product numbers) are within the confirmation email you received when you purchased online. Have you checked your email inbox? If it's not there, you can check your trash and spam folders.

     

    Alternatively, you can get in touch with our phone support, so they can give them to you.

    1. Open this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
    2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop.
    3. Select your QuickBooks version.
    4. Click on QuickBooks Setup & Navigation, then choose Activate QuickBooks.
    5. Scroll down and click the Get Phone Number button.

    By the way, steps 1-4 will route you to some articles which you can use as reference when you activate QuickBooks, set up your company file, ect. Feel free to check them when you have time.

      I need the 2019 QuickBooks Pro Contractor version.  I only see the 2019 QB Pro Desktop.

      @dholley328 

      There is no QBD Pro Contractor Edition. You have to choose QB Premier and will choose Contractor industry when installing it later.

        By reseeting my pc. I accidently removed Quickbooks Pro 2019. I installed it again but even though it says Quickbooks Pro 2019. It does not have my current information. It has old information from 2017!!

        I have my product id. and license number.

        Let's restore your most current backup, Sulema.

         

        We'll perform a wild card search to view the date, timestamp, or size to determine the current backup. Go to the Search field, then enter *.qbb.  Take note of the file's location, size, and date modified column.

         

        Once you find the recent one, restore the backup in QuickBooks. All current information will be shown when it's opened. 

         

        To ensure you've selected the current or correct file, run a custom report. This will show the last transactions entered in the program. Here's how:

        1. Click Reports.
        2. Go to Custom Reports.
        3. Select Transaction Detail.

        i need to reinstall my quickbooks 2019

        Hello there, @tryma. Welcome to the Community.

         

        Let's install QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) again so you can continue to manage your business' growth and transactions accordingly.

         

        When you reinstall QBDT, it won't affect your data at all. It'll only rename your QuickBooks folders to fix any company file issues you may have. Before doing so, make sure you download the installer for your version of QuickBooks and have your license number handy. You can also get all the info you need from your account management portal and through CAMPs.

         

        Whenever you're ready to reinstall, here's how:

         

        1. Open the file QuickBooks.exe.
        2. Follow the onscreen instructions. Accept the software license agreement and then select Next.
        3. Enter your Product and License numbers. 
        4. Select Next. 
        5. Decide which install type is right for you (Express install or Custom and Network install).
        6. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the installation process.

         

        Once you're done, go ahead and activate or register your QBDT software.
