Error 350 means the secure connection between QuickBooks and your bank has expired or stopped working, usually for security reasons. Banks require you to reauthorize the connection periodically. Depending on your bank, this can be every 90 business days or every 18 months. Here's how to get it reconnected.

Fix error 350 in QuickBooks Online

  1. Go to All apps, then Accounting, then Bank transactions.
  2. Select the bank or credit card account showing the error.
  3. Find the error message and select Fix now.
  4. Confirm the user ID and password you use to sign in to your bank's website. Re-enter your bank credentials if needed.
  5. Select Save and connect.
  6. You'll see a "Connection complete and transactions updated!" message if the reconnection works. Select Close.

If you're getting sent in a loop and the error keeps reappearing, try signing in to QuickBooks using a private or incognito browser window, then repeat the steps above. Cached browser data can sometimes interfere with the reauthorization flow.

It also helps to have the original user who set up the bank connection re-establish it. If that's a different person, the error screen includes a Send a request option that emails them a link to reconnect from their own login.

If multiple QuickBooks users share the same bank login

When more than one person manages bank connections for separate QuickBooks companies using the same bank login, error 350 can become a cycle: reconnecting one company fixes it but disconnects the others, since your bank supports only one active connection at a time. The most recently reconnected company takes over, and the rest lose access.

The most reliable fix is to designate one person to handle all bank connection tasks across all connected companies. That person should:

  • Add bank accounts
  • Update connection settings
  • Fix or reauthorize connections when they expire

Other team members can still do everything that doesn't touch the bank connection itself, such as refreshing the bank feed, categorizing transactions, and reconciling as usual.

If the error keeps coming back after trying these steps, contact QuickBooks support. The team can review your specific account setup and walk through next steps with you.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. If the same error persists, you can use csv2qbo converter tool for the time being. It's a $60 one time license.
