How do I fix Error 350 when my JP Morgan Chase bank account keeps disconnecting from QuickBooks Online?

We continue to have our bank accounts disconnect from QuickBooks Online, and we have not been able to find a permanent fix.

Our bank is JP Morgan Chase Bank. This happens whether we have only one bank account connected to QBO or multiple accounts connected.

What happens is:

We reconnect the account(s)

Transactions load into the bank feed

Then later the same day or the next day, when we open QuickBooks again, the bank account(s) are disconnected

We receive Error 350

This has become a recurring issue and is disrupting our workflow. Has anyone found a permanent solution for Chase accounts disconnecting with Error 350 in QuickBooks Online? If so, what steps resolved it for you? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Error 350 means the bank connection has expired and needs to be refreshed. This is a normal part of how bank feeds work, as most banks require QuickBooks to re-authenticate periodically (every few months, depending on the bank's own security settings). The issue you're describing, where the connection drops again within hours of reconnecting, suggests something is preventing the connection from sticking after you re-authorize it.

Step 1: Reconnect and update the bank feed

  1. Go to All apps, then Accounting, then Bank transactions.
  2. Find your Chase account and select the Reconnect or Update option.
  3. Sign in to your Chase account when prompted and authorize the connection.
  4. Check that transactions load into the For Review tab before closing QuickBooks.

Step 2: Check Chase's side

If the connection drops again quickly, sign in directly to your Chase online banking and look for:

  • Any security alerts or new authorization prompts that weren't there before.
  • Recent changes to your Chase account security settings (some settings can block third-party connections).
  • Any Chase maintenance notifications.

If you have multiple Chase accounts connected, try connecting only one at a time to isolate whether the issue affects all accounts or just one.

Step 3: Contact QuickBooks Live Support

If the connection consistently drops within the same day you reconnect, this is the point to contact QuickBooks support. They can look at the specific connection type used for Chase and may be able to switch your connection to a more stable method, or flag it for investigation if there's a known issue with the Chase bank feed.

While you're waiting for a resolution, you can keep your records up to date by manually uploading transactions from your Chase statements (CSV or OFX format) via the upload option on the Bank transactions page.

If the connection drops again after trying these steps, reply here with how quickly it disconnected and whether you saw any error code beyond 350. That will help narrow down the cause.

I appreciate the details, Synqara. Error 350 occurs when a bank connection expires. Banks require a fresh login every 90 days to 18 months, depending on their specific policy. Normally, this error is resolved by re-establishing the connection.

Since the problem continues even after reconnecting, I recommend contacting your bank to check for any ongoing maintenance or updates that might be causing the issue. If everything appears normal on their end, please reach out to our Live Support team so they can take a closer look at what’s causing this error.

Feel free to reply to this post if you need further assistance.

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.
