How do I resolve a bank error 102 in which I can not connect to my bank? This has been going on for several days.

Hi there, @Sarah104. The error you encountered indicates that QuickBooks is unable to connect to your bank.

 

This issue usually resolves itself within 24 hours or more; however, since it has been ongoing for several days, I suggest visiting your bank’s website to check for any messages, notifications, or alerts that could be affecting the connection.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting your financial institution directly to confirm any ongoing maintenance and let them know that you're unable to connect your bank to QuickBooks due to an error.

 

In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transactions into QuickBooks to keep your records accurate.

 

Once the connection is restored, please know QuickBooks will automatically download your recent transactions. To prevent duplication, exclude any transactions you uploaded manually during this process.
