Hi there, @carltonmotorspor. Let me share further insights about depositing funds to your QuickBooks Checking account so you can manage your transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Your QuickBooks Checking account also holds real money like any other bank account. You'll have to deposit your funds to an external bank account and transfer the money.
After you set up your QuickBooks Checking account, connect an external bank account to transfer money to and from it. You'll have to set up an account you already linked for online banking a second time for QuickBooks Checking.
Here's how:
Go to the Cash Flow menu and then select QuickBooks Checking.
Select Transfer and then click to transfer money between your accounts. You're not going to transfer money yet. You'll just have to start the connection.
Click Add a bank.
Enter your bank's name and select your Account Type.
Put your Account number and Routing number info. Then, select Next.
Hit Next.
QuickBooks will send two small deposits to the account within the next 3 days. After that, you can verify the transactions. In QBO, go to the Cash Flow menu and select Verify bank. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
Once done, you can now transfer money in and out of your QuickBooks Checking account. For the step-by-step process, please refer to this article: Use your QuickBooks checking account (Step 3).
Keep me posted in the comments if you have other banking concerns and questions about managing deposit transactions in QuickBooks. I'll gladly help. Take care.
