How to change beginning balance before submitting reconciliation?

Because you haven't reconciled your account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) yet, you have the option to edit your opening balance directly from your Bank Register. Allow me to walk you through the necessary steps:
 

1. In your QBO account, go to the Accounting tab, then select Chart of Accounts.
2. Find the account on the list.
3. Select View register to get more details.
4. Look for the opening balance entry. It should have an Opening Balance Equity in the Account column.
   
   
    
5. Click on Edit to change the amount.
6. Once ready, click on Save and close.
