Good to see you here in the Community, @nrobinson1.
I can guide you on how to change your reconciliation date. You’ll want to click the Edit info on the reconciliation page to change the date. Let me walk you through the steps in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
You can still change the ending date if you haven’t completed the reconciliation. Let me show you how.
Go to the Accounting menu.
Select the Reconcile tab.
Choose the bank account from the Account drop-down menu.
Click the Resume reconciling button.
Then click the Edit Info button located in the upper right-hand corner.
Change the Ending Balance and Ending Date.
Click Save.
However, if you're done with the reconciliation, you can manually undo the reconciled transactions first, then re-reconcile using the correct date.
To manually undo reconciliation in QBO, see the steps below:
1. Go back to the Gear icon, then select Chart of Accounts under Your Company.
2. Locate the appropriate account for the transaction.
3. From the Action column, select View Register.
4. Click to highlight the transaction.
5. In the reconcile status column (checkmark), repeatedly click to change the status of the transaction. (C = Cleared, R = Reconciled, Blank = Not cleared or reconciled).
Also, I'd suggest consulting with an accountant for guidance in undoing the reconciliation. This way, we’ll ensure your accounts are correct after making these changes.
