I'm pleased to have you here in the Community today, @kcholdingsllc-gm. I'll be happy to guide you so you can successfully enter deposits in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.
If you're using the Android version, please know that the option to enter deposits via QBO android has been discontinued. As a workaround, you can consider accessing your QBO account via web version. I'll be happy to write down the steps below you can get through this. To begin, here's how:
Access your QuickBooks Online company.
Click the +New icon, and then select BankDeposit.
In the Choose an account field, select the bank account to which to deposit funds.
Enter the Date.
In the Add funds to this deposit table, enter information about any additional items to include in this deposit, including who the item was Received From, the Account, Payment Method, and Amount of the item.
In case you're using an iPhone or iPad, here's how you can enter a deposit:
Select +
Select Bank Deposit.
Under the Choose an account drop-down arrow, choose the bank account to which you wish to deposit funds or choose Select existing payments
If you are receiving cash back from this deposit, fill in the Cash back fields. Choose Petty cash (or whichever account you use to track cash on hand). See set up a petty cash account for more information.
If there's anything else you'd like me to assist you with, know that I've always got your back. Thanks for choosing QuickBooks. Take care, and have a good one!
