If you are using QuickBooks Checking to process your online payments, you'll have to connect your bank account and QuickBooks will dispatch two small deposits to the account within three business days. Once you see the deposits in your account, go back to QuickBooks to verify the transactions.
To verify a bank deposit in QuickBooks for setting up online payments, follow these steps below:
Go to Banking Services, then select QuickBooks Checking
Select Transfer and then select Transfer Money.
Select Add a Bank.
Enter your bank name and select your account type.
Enter your account number and routing number.
When you're ready to connect, select Next.
Note:QuickBooks will send two small deposits to the account within three business days. Once you see the deposits in your account, come back to QuickBooks to verify the transactions.
Go to Banking Services, then QuickBooks Checking.
Select Verify Bank.
Note: Some banks don't require verification. Instead, you can just select Add to connect your bank.
Enter the two amounts deposited by QuickBooks. The order doesn't matter. Select Confirm.
