I'm trying to connect a new bank account and when I enter my password, Quickbooks says its too long. But this is my password

Quickbooks needs to update their password length.

To help resolve this, could you please let me know which bank you are using? This will help us analyze the issue better and give you the most accurate solution.

In the meantime, please log in directly to your bank's website to confirm your credentials work and to check for any new password requirements. Once successful, connect the bank account and manually enter those same credentials in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

I’m using Community America Credit Union. I’m copying and pasting into QB. It should work but this is a new bank.

Type your password manually into the QuickBooks connection screen to prevent login errors caused by hidden characters. Verify the password works by logging directly into the CommunityAmerica Credit Union website.

Also, please check your CommunityAmerica Credit Union online banking settings for third-party or external app access and ensure it is enabled. If you cannot find this option, you can contact your bank's support team for assistance.
