Importing transactions incorrectly
Hello - our Checking and Savings Accounts with Digital Federal Credit Union connected to QB were both working correctly through most of this year. The Checking Acct connected to QB is still working fine; it updates correctly and I'm able to reconcile successfully.
The Savings Acct, however, threw an error starting in August and stopped being able to update transactions. I attempted to 'fix' the error through the QB UI, but nothing happened. When I contacted QB Support, they were not able to make a successful connection to my Savings Acct and suggested that I import the transactions manually.
I exported the CSV file from my bank and tried importing it. While the import was successful, it imported ALL of the transactions as positive - i.e. deposits - when there were both deposits and withdrawals on the file. Several attempts at changing the format of the file have not been successful - it sees all of the transactions as positive. This makes it impossible for me to reconcile the account.
1) How can I import these transactions accurately so that I can reconcile? Or, 2) Is there a fix coming from QB Support that can re-connect with my DCU Savings Acct successfully?
