Just enrolled with easy start and cannot use foreign currency accounts. What do I need to do?

Welcome to the Community, Fred. We'll share details about the Multicurrency option inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Please know that the feature to add an account that uses a different currency or manage multiple currencies inside your company is only available for Essentials, Plus, and Advanced subscriptions of QuickBooks. That said, if you're using Simple Start, the option won't be available on your end.

If you wish to upgrade your current subscription, we'll be happy to write down the steps to get you going:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
2. Click the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and billing.
3. Make sure your payment info is up to date.
4. In the QuickBooks Online section, select Upgrade your plan.
5. Review the available plans and then select Choose plan.
6. Follow the on-screen steps to upgrade your plan.

You should upgrade your plan to Essentials. Another option, use QB Desktop with a non-subscription license.
