Question

Linked my Jeff Bank account. It's not updating, error 103. They use the DigiPass app, that generates a unique password that changes every time you log in. How to resolve?

Hi there, @ehsinsabaugh.

The error 103 for Jeff Bank occurs because the login credentials or the DigiPass token entered in QuickBooks Online (QBO) do not match what the bank requires. Since DigiPass generates a unique code for every session, QBO cannot update automatically in the background.

To resolve this, you'll need to perform a manual update. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to your Bank transactions tab under All apps.
  2. Select your Bank account and click Update.
  3. When the login window appears, open your DigiPass app to generate a new code. Type it in immediately, as these codes generally expire within one to two minutes.

If the issue persists, click Link account and search for Jeff Bank. Then, click the URL displayed under the bank's name to ensure it takes you to the specific login page you use. If your browser auto-fills the password field, clear it and type the password and DigiPass code manually. Cached data can often hold onto an expired token, causing the 103 error. Alternatively, you can open your browser in Incognito or Private mode. This stops old, saved data from interfering with your new login code.

For detailed instructions, refer to this article: Fix bank error 103 in QuickBooks Online.

On top of that, you can also manually add your transactions to your QBO account and categorize them to ensure the accuracy of your financial data.

I’ll keep an eye on this thread if you have additional questions or concerns. Don’t hesitate to leave a reply.
