There is no "Downloaded as" memo description in transaction history after added to the register

I downloaded QBO files from the bank website and uploaded to the Bank Feed.  For anything that was not a check, I used the "Downloaded as" column to create rules and classify to the correct account.  I did not add the vendor because the info was in the Downloaded as column.

 

Now that I finished mapping all the transactions to the correct account, I realized that the description in the "downloaded as" is not showing up in the transaction history.  Is there anyway to add this column so I can see the detail in the transaction history?

When transactions are uploaded to the bank feed, the details from the Downloaded as column may not appear in the Memo column.

 

Since the transaction is already categorized, you'll need to add the memo manually. You can use your bank statement to find the exact amount or reference number, then use the Go to tool to locate the matching entry and enter the details in the memo field.

 

Here's how you can do this:

 

  1. Go to the Accountant menu and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Identify the account where the transaction was categorized and select it.
  3. Click on the Go to button, located at the upper-left corner.
  4. From the Which Field option, choose either Amount or Number/ref.
  5. Search for the exact amount or number/ref based on the bank statement and press the Next button.
  6. Once the transaction is located, manually enter the details into the Memo field.
