What happen if I want to disconnect a linked credit card account in quickbooks online and connect it again? Will I lose previous data?

Disconnecting and reconnecting your bank account won't erase any of your previously downloaded, categorized, or reconciled data. It all stays completely safe.

However, any transactions currently sitting uncategorized in your Pending tab will disappear once you are disconnected. If the transactions are older than 90 days, you won’t be able to download them from the bank when you reconnect.

In this case, you can still manually upload old transactions.

Keep in mind that when you reconnect, QuickBooks typically downloads the last 30 to 90 days of transactions, depending on your bank's policy. This can sometimes create duplicates in your Pending tab if the system doesn't recognize that they were already processed.

You can read more details about this here: Disconnect accounts connected to online banking.

Let me know if you need anything else.
