Question

When I reconcile my bank account, the deposit amounts don't show up. It just shows the date, the name and no amount. Why?

Hi there, connie48.

I'm here to help ensure you can reconcile your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

There are times that the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies), causing this unusual response. To isolate this, let's sign in to your QBO using a private browser (incognito).

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, go back to the reconciliation page again to double-check. Here's how:

  1. In QBO, go to the Gear icon at the top right.
  2. Select Reconcile.
  3. Click Continue Reconciliation.

If the deposits are now showing, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Please let me know in the comment if you have follow-up questions about reconciliation or anything else QuickBooks. I'm always here to assist. Take care.
