Where are the check attachment images in the new ai-powered banking transactions page in QBO?

Up until today, images were always available on the right hand side via a link that made matching fairly seamless. Today, it shows there is an attachment and it shows a jpg. file however there does not seem to be a link anywhere or a setting to add a column that I can find yet that gives access the file(s).

Attachments have specific column that displays the number of files linked to each transaction. You can find this right next to the Amount column while viewing transactions in the Pending (formerly the For review) tab, Mike542.

 

If the attachment isn't visible, simply click on the transaction itself to open its details and verify whether the attachment is included.

 

However, if the attachment was added but isn't appearing next to the transaction, we can perform troubleshooting steps to fix this. 

 

Sometimes, your browser may encounter issues that prevent the updated status from displaying like attachments. This happens due to outdated browser versions or compatibility problems.

 

To resolve this, you can delete the cache and clear Intuit specific cookies to free up space and potentially improve your device performance. 

 

But if the problem persists, consider switching to another browser. 

 

You may also wish to see all the attachments you've added, you can Navigate to the Gear icon and then Attachments.

My screen doesn't look like that. The OP is right. There is no way to view attachments in the new banking page as of about a week ago. Prior to approximately a week ago, after you clicked on the number in the paper clip column to open the attachments list, you could then click on the individual files in the list to open the image in a separate browser tab. But this feature mysteriously stopped working about a week ago. It is not a browser cookie or cache problem. It happens on all browsers and all devices I've tried. This is a serious bug. Someone inside of Intuit needs to take this issue seriously and give it the urgent attention that it deserves. It is obviously essential to be able to view check images. Switching back to the old banking page is the only option I know of right now and tech support is of no help at all and won't even escalate the issue, claiming that the feature is working as designed, and gosh darn it, there's just nothing at all that they can do.
