But before we start, may I know what's the name of your bank? This will help me to further determine the reason why your bank keeps disconnecting. In the meantime, let's try reconnecting your bank using a private browser (incognito window). This way, we'll be able to isolate if this is a browser-related issue. I've provided these shortcuts below:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl+Shift+N.

 

If it works, we can clear the cache to clear up any cache-related issues. This lets you speed up the loading process so you work on a clean slate. Once done, you can try reconnecting your bank account

My books keeps disconnecting from the bank and now i keep encountering this error when i try to re verify account

I understand the urgency of resolving this issue so you can access your Enterprise Bank MA business account on QuickBooks Self-Employed Account (QBSE).

 

After checking with my tools, I have confirmed no investigation related to this error message. However, have you checked with your financial institution to see if there are maintenance updates? If everything is good from your bank's side, contact our customer support team for assistance. Our team of experts can help you troubleshoot the issue and provide any necessary solutions. They can also provide more detailed information about the error.
 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to  Assistant.
  2. Select Ask QB Assistant.
  3. Choose the way you want to connect with us.

I found the fix FINALLY! You have to contact your bank and make sure you have the option to allow a connection to a 3rd party financial planning tool turned on. I have HUNTINGTON BANK. Called customer service and they had me sign on using the web version. There was a setting in my profile to allow my account to connect. It doesn’t unlink anymore.

 

It’s weird though because I’ve had my account connected to other stuff for like ever.

This is annoying because I end up losing transactions that I have to figure out how to enter in because my bank only goes back so far.

Hello, NinjaUnmatched. I totally get how annoying it must be that your bank keeps disconnecting from QuickBooks.

 

Can I have the name of the bank so I can check if there are similar cases? I also recommend checking your bank's website or logging in to your account to see if there are any updates or maintenance announcements that could be causing the disconnection. If there's none, please get in touch with our Live Support team  to check this further.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the (?) Help panel.
  2. Enter your concerns into the Search bar.
  3. Click on Contact Us.

 

Please make sure to check their support hours so you can reach them at the right time.

 

Alternatively, you may consider uploading your transactions manually so you no longer have to deal with disconnection issues and the loss of your data. You can do this on a weekly or monthly basis, depending on your number of transactions.

 

Additionally, I suggest creating bank rules to speed up the process of categorizing your transactions.
