When some of your accounts at a bank keep downloading transactions normally while others stop, even though they all use the same login, the cause is usually something specific to those particular accounts on your bank's side, not a break in your overall QuickBooks connection.
Check your bank's website directly
- Go to Bookkeeping, then Transactions, then Bank transactions.
- Select Link account.
- Search for your bank and select it, then copy the URL listed for it.
- Sign in to your bank's website using that copied URL.
If you can sign in without any errors, check for messages, notifications, or alerts on the affected accounts specifically, and look for any display issues as you browse. Also check for any announcements about new security requirements on your bank's site. These can silently block new transactions from reaching QuickBooks even when the account still shows the correct balance.
Run a manual update
Once everything looks clear on your bank's side, go back to QuickBooks and manually update your transactions. This refreshes all your connected accounts, and you'll see the transaction count increase on any account tile where new transactions came through.
If the accounts still aren't updating, you can upload transactions manually as a bridge
- Sign in to your bank's website and download your transactions as a CSV file, using a date range that starts at least one day before your oldest missing transaction.
- In QuickBooks, upload that file to bring the missing transactions in while you continue troubleshooting the live connection.
Afterward, review and categorize the transactions you've brought in, whether through the live connection or a manual upload, so they post to the right accounts and you avoid duplicates.
