Hello there, mjsautoservice23.

If your bank ledger is running two days behind, even though it used to update more promptly, it's often due to one of the following reasons:

  • Bank Changes. Sometimes your banks updated their systems or changed how and when transaction data is shared with QBO.
  • Sync Issues. The connection between QBO and your bank might be temporarily disrupted, which can slow down updates.

To resolve this, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to resolve banking issues. Let's start by doing the manual update to trigger the connection and download the latest transactions. Here's how:

  1. Go to your Bank Transactions page.
  2. Locate and select your bank account tile.
  3. Click the Update button.

If this doesn't work, log in to your bank's website and check for any messages, notifications, or alerts about connectivity issues or delays. These might indicate why QuickBooks isn't downloading the latest transactions.

If transactions still aren't appearing, you can manually upload your bank transactions into QuickBooks as workarounds.
