Before we proceed, could you let me know if you’re encountering any specific error messages during the upload process? If possible, sharing a screenshot would be really useful in identifying the issue and finding the best solution.

 

To start, please try signing out of the QuickBooks Online app and then signing back in. This simple step often refreshes the system and resolves minor issues.

 

Next, let’s refresh the app data to keep everything up to date.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Settings and select General.
  2. Choose iPhone Storage, then click the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Click Offload App to free your storage without deleting the app's data and documents.

 

If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app. This helps remove corrupted files or bugs that may be preventing receipts from uploading.

 

After reinstalling, try uploading your receipts again. Please remember to convert your images from the HEIC format if you have a newer iPhone or iPad. Apple provides instructions on how to do this.

 

Alternatively, you can access QuickBooks Online in a web browser and upload your receipts there. Keep in mind that receipts must be in PDF, JPEG, JPG, GIF, or PNG format.
