Hi there, absolomamanda. I'm here to provide you with valuable insights on connecting accounts to QuickBooks.
Before we dive in, could you kindly confirm whether you're trying to link these accounts through the QuickBooks Online Mobile app or the QuickBooks Desktop app?
If you're utilizing the QuickBooks Desktop app, there's no set limit on the number of accounts you can connect, provided they are supported by the list of financial institutions that allow bank connections.
On the other hand, if you're using the QBO Mobile app, connecting banks directly from this platform isn't an available option. Nonetheless, you can log in via a web browser and establish the account connection from there.
Please know that you have two options for connecting your account: the standard bank connection or the direct bank connection. Here's how to proceed with a standard bank connection:
Go to Bookkeeping and select Transactions.
Click Bank transactions, then select Connect Account or Link account.
Search for your bank and select Continue, then sign in to your bank by entering your banking user ID and password.
Follow the onscreen steps to connect and go through any additional security checks required.
Select any accounts you want to connect e.g. your savings, transaction, or credit card.
Choose the matching account type from your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.
Select how far back you want to download transactions and click Connect.
Reenter QuickBooks Online and refresh your window.
