Question

I have a linked bank with 2 accts. How to add another acct - a term deposit - with the same linked bank?

I can't see how to add an additional account with the same linked bank. Do I disable the linked bank & relink the bank & all 3 accounts? I'm concerned about getting duplicate transactions with the existing linked bank accounts.

Hi there, @shop-messages2022.

There are two methods to link an additional bank account using the same link. Before doing this, please create another entry in your Chart of Accounts.

Once done, you can follow the steps below on how to connect your bank:

  1. Go to Accounting, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Click the arrow dropdown beside the Link Account.
  3. Choose Manage Connections.
  4. Select the Name of your Bank, then locate your deposit account.
  5. Click the switch icon to connect if.

If your deposit account is not there, you can regularly connect your bank using the same link. Rest assured, it will not cause duplicate transactions.

Here's how:

  1. In the Bank Transactions, click Link Account.
  2. Enter the name of your bank or bank URL.
  3. Input your login credentials and your password.
  4. Select your Deposit account, then click the arrow dropdown and choose the deposit account you've created.
  5. Click Connect.
