I transferred funds from one bank account to another. How do I categorise the two transactions?

I've ended up with an income and an expense entry that need to be categorised. The other side of each entry is to the respective bank account. I think these used to automatically offset but that's not happening any more

Hello, Henry. If you haven't manually created a transfer and both banks are connected, simply click Post on the transactions with the PAIR tag on the Bank Transactions page. This automatically creates a transfer entry in both banks' registers.


On the other hand, if you have already created the transfer in QuickBooks, select Match, find your transaction, and click Match. Repeat this process for the other bank.
