Error 103 occurs when login credentials you’ve entered in QuickBooks Online (QBO) don’t match those required by your bank, emilees1.

Your credentials may work on Suncorp’s platform, but QBO might be using the wrong URL or need extra authorization. Let’s walk through the steps to resolve this issue.

First, when setting up or refreshing the bank connection in QBO, ensure you select the correct version of Suncorp Bank. Verify the URL listed during setup matches your online banking login. Second, confirm if your bank requires authorization for third-party access, as some banks need approval to connect with QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Log into Suncorp Internet Banking to check for third-party access.
  2. Enable the setting if prompted.
  3. Contact Suncorp support for assistance if needed.

Third, double-check the username and password entered in QBO match your bank’s website credentials. Avoid autofill and type them manually. Lastly, cached files can disrupt connections. Clear your browser’s cache or use a private window to bypass errors.
