You can either disconnect an account from online banking or delete it from your chart of accounts. The option to hide a bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is currently unavailable.
Disconnecting an account will simply stop QuickBooks from downloading new transactions. While deleting an account will permanently remove all the transactions from the account.
To disconnect your bank account from online banking:
Go to the Banking from the left menu and proceed to the Banking tab.
Select the tile for the bank account and click the Edit or pencil ✎ icon and choose Edit account info.
Choose the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
Select Save and Close.
To delete a bank account:
Go to the Gear icon at the top, choose Chart of Accounts.
Find the account you want to delete in the list.
Click the View Register drop-down and select Make inactive.
Choose Yes to confirm that you want to delete the account.
