You can permanently delete your 185 transactions by moving them to the Excluded tab first, and then delete them. Since the money-in and money-out columns are reversed, clearing them out completely is the best way to start fresh before uploading your fixed CSV file.

Here’s how to exclude your transactions:

  1. Go to All apps, then select Accounting.
  2. Click Bank transactions and open the For review tab.
  3. Check the boxes next to the transactions you want to remove, then click Exclude.

Here’s how to delete them:

  1. Stay in Bank transactions and go to the Excluded tab.
  2. Select the transactions you want to delete, then click Delete.

To ensure your transaction amounts fall into the right columns, check out this article on formatting CSV files for QuickBooks Online. It will guide you through organizing your data into the required 3-column or 4-column format, so you can easily map the fields.
