If the reconciliation isn't finished, you can update the ending date by returning to the reconciliation page and adjusting the Ending Balance and End Date, Uresha.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to Transactions in the left menu.
  2. Select the Reconcile tab.
  3. From the Account drop-down, pick the bank account.
  4. Click Resume reconciling.
  5. Tap Edit Info in the upper right corner.
  6. Update the Ending Balance and Ending Date.
  7. Hit Save.

If the reconciliation is already completed, QuickBooks Online (QBO) does not allow changes to the ending date. Instead, you can undo the reconciliation for specific transactions.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions in the left panel and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the account containing the transaction and click View register.
  3. Locate the transaction you want to un-reconcile.
  4. In the check column, click the top line of the transaction repeatedly until the box is blank. This removes it from the reconciliation.
  5. Click Save.
