It can be quite a letdown when you’re ready to get your finances organized and your bank doesn't show up in the search list. I know you want to get those Namibian accounts connected so you can stay on top of your books, and I can help you with the best way to get that data into QuickBooks Online.
When a bank doesn't appear in the search, it usually means a direct connection isn't available yet for that specific bank. You can still get your transactions into the system by manually uploading them. It takes a few extra clicks, but it's a great way to make sure your records are complete and ready to reconcile. Here is how you can do it:
Sign in to your bank's website and download your transaction history as a CSV or QuickBooks Online (QBO) file.
In QuickBooks Online, go to the Transactions or Banking tab.
Instead of clicking Link account, click the dropdown arrow next to it and select Upload from file.
Drag and drop your bank file and follow the prompts to match the columns for Date, Description, and Amount.
