Both are typically Bank or Other Current Asset accounts used to track physical cash. In QuickBooks Online, Cash may be the default system account, while Cash in Hand have been added manually (or vice versa).

When recording new transactions such as a Sales Receipt or Invoice Payment, you can use the Deposit to drop-down to select Cash in Hand instead of Cash. For transactions already posted to Cash, you can open each entry individually and update the Deposit to account.

For payments currently categorized under Undeposited Funds, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the +Create and select Bank Deposit.

2. Select the payments you wish to transfer.

3. Choose Cash in Hand as the account where the deposit will be posted.

If you'd like to consolidate these into one account permanently, you can merge them in QuickBooks Online. Please note that this action cannot be undone.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask.
