Question

Any one facing error 105 when trying to connect their bank feed from OCBC? It has been like this for more than a week and nothing has been done

Hi, @Hvala. Let me share some information about your banking concern in QuickBooks Online.

 

I've checked our records and haven't seen any investigations similar to yours. Bank error 105 occurs when there is ongoing maintenance on your bank or unable to establish a connection. This usually resolves within 24 hours. If not, you'll want to manually update your bank in QBO.

 

Here‘s how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select the bank account and click Update.
  3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update.
  4. If you still can't connect, please wait 2 or 3 hours and try again.

If the issue persists, you can use our WebConnect feature and manually import the transactions. Once the bank file is ready, start importing the file to your QuickBooks Online company. You can refer to this article for more detailed steps and the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. 

 

Once imported, I recommend editing, assigning, and categorising your transactions. Doing so will help you ensure the accuracy of your financial records.

Hi, I have had the same probelm from middle of July and not able to connect.  This happens very oftens with my OCBC bank account.

As advised above, bank error 105 usually means there may be a problem from your bank's end. It could be that there are ongoing maintenance or server issues. With that, I recommend checking your bank website to verify if there are notifications that need attention.

Also, since this problem comes often, I'd suggest contacting our Support Team. They have tools that help them check your QuickBooks and see what's going on to provide a final solution and resolve it for you. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Help and select Assistant.
  2. Type your concern and select Contact us.
