Question

Can any way to confine the transaction of the month for reconciliation? Should I limit just transaction of the specific month not after that?

Hi there, Reza.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) offers several filtering options on the reconciliation page to make the process easier.

These filters allow you to view only the transactions for a specific month, helping you focus on the correct period during reconciliation.

Here's how:

  1. On the Reconcile page, click the Filter icon.
  2. Select Custom date on the Date dropdown.
  3. Set the date range in the From and To fields to match the month you want to reconcile.
  4. Click Apply once finished.

Additionally, when performing reconciliation in QBO, you should only match transactions that fall within your designated reconciliation period. This period corresponds to the statement dates provided by your bank or credit card issuer.

You should limit adding transactions that fall outside the reconciliation period, as doing so can lead to inaccuracies and discrepancies in your records.

Please leave a reply below if you have further questions about reconciliation in QBO.
