Does QBO No Longer Support Rogers Bank .OFX File Uploads?

I ’ve been having an issue ever since Rogers Bank updated their website around August/September 2025. The downloadable .OFX files are no longer being recognized by QuickBooks Online (QBO). For context, I manually download the .OFX file from the Rogers Bank site and then manually upload it into QBO. This process used to work perfectly, but since the site update, QBO won’t recognize the file at all. I’ve already spoken with Rogers Bank, but so far, no one has been able to provide an answer or fix. I really prefer not to switch to the .CSV format, as it complicates my workflow. Has anyone else run into this issue or found a workaround? Any advice or updates would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, newmansk.

Yes, QuickBooks Online (QBO) still supports .OFX files for uploading transactions.

To start, sign out and sign back in to your QBO account and upload your files again. If the issue still persists, you can open your account in an incognito or private window. You can follow these shortcuts to open a private browser:

  • Chrome (Win/Linux): Ctrl+Shift+N • Mac: ⌘⇧N
  • Edge: Ctrl+Shift+N • Mac: ⌘⇧N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P • Mac: ⌘⇧P
  • Safari (Mac): ⌘⇧N

Alternatively, you can use a supported browser for QBO.

If you have any clarification, feel free to comment it down.

@newmansk

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

Yes, I tried the private /incognito and still having same issue. I ahve even tried it with a different browser type and same issue. Thats why I think its an issue with Rogers Bank file formatting.

You can use ofx2qbo converter tool as a workaround. It's $60 one time license.
