QuickBooks Online cannot store bank security codes or continuously manage two-step verification, which disrupts automatic bank feed updates.

To update your client’s bank accounts in QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA), you must coordinate a live session with them. The client needs to be present to provide the real-time verification code as soon as you click Update.

Alternatively, the client can log in to their Canadian bank account directly and download bank transactions in CSV file format for a date range of up to 90 days. You can then manually upload the file to your QBOA account.
