How do I link a new credit card account to the banking function?

Thanks for reaching out here.  Connecting your bank and credit card accounts can be done in just a few steps, so you can manage your transactions and reconcile your accounts effortlessly.  QuickBooks Online allows you to link as many accounts you need for managing your business and personal transactions from anywhere.  I'll be happy to assist!

Here's how to connect your account:

1. Open Banking or Transactions from the left menu

2. Click on Connect account or Link account (if you've already created one)

3. Search for your Bank and hit Continue

4. Follow the onscreen steps to complete the connection

Note:  Enter the credentials exactly how you'd sign into your bank's website

5. Choose the Accounts you want to connect, then select the matching Account type from your chart of accounts in QuickBooks

6. Decide how far back you'd like the transactions downloaded from.  This will depend on the restrictions of your financial institution.  Some allow up to 90-days of transactions, others may allow up to 24-months.

7. Hit Connect
