Need to remove one bank account

It's important that all your transactions be entered correctly so your books can be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of your sales and expenses to see the profit of your company. I can provide some information about removing a duplicate account.

If this bank account is connected to your bank's site to import transactions, you'll first need to disconnect the duplicate account. You can do so by going to the Accounting tab, then Chart of accounts. Go to the account and question, then select the drop-down arrow in the Action column on the right. Select edit, then put a checkmark in the box beside Disconnect at ave, and this will disconnect the account.

Once disconnected, fo you'd like to make the account inactive, locate the account in the Chart of accounts once more, then select the drop-down arrow to choose Make inactive.
