Hello Johana, I have steps to help you successfully connect your RBC bank with QuickBooks.
Beforehand, may I know if you encounter any error messages when connecting your bank to QBO? This information will help us provide you with an accurate solution.
To start with, here are the reasons why you're unable to connect your bank account to QBO:
The bank may not be a participating financial institution.
Your bank might not connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts).
There's ongoing system maintenance in your bank.
There are multiple names on our list for your bank. You'll want to verify and select the appropriate one or try all possible bank URLs.
Meanwhile, I recommend logging in to your RBC bank website to check for ongoing maintenance or a temporary outage. You might also want to contact them to see if they've reported any known connection issues on their side.
Also, ensure you're using the correct bank name by inputting your bank's URL in QuickBooks to locate your account.
Here's how:
Choose Transactions, then Bank transactions.
Click the Link account and enter your financial institution name or the bank URL.
Select the right bank from the list, then sign in to your account.
