Yikes - I deleted a duplicate transaction that I did not mark as cleared in my reconciliation (because if was duplicate) but it threw the overall balance off anyway. SOS

The first step I recommend taking in these situations is reviewing your transactions again and reviewing any reconciliation discrepancy reports that may now be populating in the Accounting section under the Reconcile sub-section. Since the books have been thrown off, it seems as if the transactions you deleted may have actually be reconciled after all, and a reconciliation discrepancy report in particular can highlight that for you if that's the case.

You can also use reports, such as the Transaction Detail by Account report, to review the transactions in your books to see if anything is now missing. If you're not sure about the transactions you're looking at, the next best step is consulting an accountant. They'll be able to discuss the situation with you, review the steps you've taken in your books, and figure out where the imbalanced may be coming from.
