Yes, any transaction that goes in or out of your bank needs to be recorded. You should record this as a bill. If the DD comes out of your account on the same date for the same amount every day/month you can set up a recurring bill that will be generated automatically on a specific date. You can do this by going to the cog wheel > recurring transactions.
