I am having trouble linking my Tide UK account? anyone else having trouble?Also. I have link my paypal transactions b ut they are all showing the wrong currency.

I'll help you connect your Tide business bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), edith.

Did you receive any error messages when linking it to QBO? Would you mind sharing them with us? This way, I can gather more information about it and provide you with the best fix. 

In the meantime, I recommend contacting your bank and verifying any updates. It could be there's a maintenance issue that affects the connection between your bank and QBO.

If this isn't the case, I suggest connecting the account using a private window. This way, we can determine whether this is a browser cache-related issue. The browser utilizes cached data to load web pages quickly. However, excessive cache can lead to problems that impact the appearance and functionality of your account.

An incognito mode helps us verify the issue since this doesn't save any files. Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

• Safari: Command + Shift + N 
• Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

Here's how to link your account:

1. Go to the Banking page.
2. If this is the first bank account you’ve set up, select Connect account. Or click Link account if you already created one.
3. Search the Tide bank. You can connect with most banks, even small credit unions. 
   
   
4. Sign into your bank by entering your banking username and password. Then hit Continue.
   
   
5. Read through the terms and conditions, select Agree, and then follow the on-screen steps to connect. Your bank may require additional security checks. It may take a few minutes to connect.
6. Select any accounts you want to connect. Then, choose the matching account type from your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.

Once you connect your bank, I recommend clearing your regular browser cache. Doing so deletes all the data from your browser and optimizes its performance. Using other supported browsers also helps us verify if this is a browser-specific issue. 

Alternatively, you can manually upload your bank transactions in QBO. I'll show you how.

1. Sign in to your Bank website and follow the instructions to download the file as QBO, .CSV, or .QFX (maximum file size 350KB).
2. Ensure to download only those transactions that haven’t been downloaded to your account to avoid duplicates.
3. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu in your QBO account.
4. Select Upload transactions or Upload from file.
5. Click the Drag and drop or select files box and click the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
6. From the QuickBooks account drop-down, select the account you want to upload the transactions into, then click Continue.
7. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then select Continue. 

When it comes to your PayPal transactions, we do not currently offer multi-currency support. This is why you may be seeing an incorrect currency displayed. To fix this, you may consider excluding the downloaded data:

1. On the banking page, go to the Exclude tab.
2. Select the transactions, then click Delete.
   

Once done, manually add the entries to the program.
