I see the mileage allowance has increased to 55p per mile. Will the app automatically do this as it’s backdated to April 26 or do we have to do it manually

QuickBooks Sole Trader has not yet implemented the new 55p HMRC flat-rate guidelines. You will need to manually modify those trips to ensure they align with the updated guidelines released by HMRC.

To start, click the Menu icon and select Mileage in the Frequently used section for a shortcut. On the Mileage page, navigate to the Reviewed section, locate the trip you want to edit, and click on it. Proceed to modify and manually apply the new 55p flat rate implemented by HMRC. Once finished, click Save.
