If I receive 1200 rent. Letting agent charges me 70.80. When categorising as income do I put 1200 or 1056. Thanks in advance

If you are processing it via the bank feed you can split the transaction, put the full amount of rent as income and then in the next line expense it out to the required expense category and it will match the balance in the bank.

You must process the full amount of rent as this is income, and then process he 70.80 as an expense.

If you process just as rental income of 1056 it will not show a true and accurate picture of your income and expenditure.
