Welcome to the Community. I'm here to provide some clarification about the new feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

If you have the latest update, I recommend restarting the app. To opt-in, go back to the Mileage settings and check if you can turn on Trip notifications.

Also, please ensure your iOS version is 13.0 or later. It should be compatible with your iPhone 6s.

In case you need the steps, here's how:

1. Go to your iPhone settings.
2. Press General.
3. View the About section.

If the option is still unavailable, please proceed with contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They'll be able to assist you further with the new feature.

To reach them using the web browser:

1. Log into your Self-Employed account.
2. Click the Help option in the upper-right corner.
3. Select Contact us.
