We sell bundles of product for a set amount say £10. I can create the bundle but have to put a sales value on each line rather than at the top level. Any thoughts?

Hello Sandra5000,

The only workaround I could find for this would be to override the prices of the stock items within the bundle when creating an invoice so that they add up to the £10 you would like to charge (please see image below). This would reduce the stock for each item - however I appreciate that this isn't as quick as being able to set up price for the bundle itself. Please use the Feedback option under the cog wheel to suggest this to the developers - hopefully this is something they can implement in the future.

Thank you for your question!

The amount of the bundle should automatically calculate based on the quantity of the separate products within it - this should display next to the bundle when creating an invoice and should allow you to save without filling out an amount on each line.

Does QuickBooks not allow you to save this without filling out each transaction line?

Hi

The point is the bundle is a set price, not the sum of various components. It might be made up of 5 items. Not all of these have sales prices. However, we sell the total kit for £10. It includes a combination of stock items and non-stock consumables. I have no way of apportioning the sales value over the components. I need to find a way to record the Bundle sales price of £10, yet show the stock lines underneath so they are deducted from stock (but with no attributable sales value).

I am trying to find a way to record this in QBO.

Any help really appreciated. If only you could enter the value of the bundle.....
