Why does the bank feed lump batches of paid in cheques or card payments together and then give them a random customer name? It is something I am doing wrong or can fix?

Could we ask how these transactions show on your bank statement, do they show as individual amounts?In the bank detail on the transaction does it show the same random customer name?
