Customize Customer Statement Desktop

When I print out my customer statements my company name is indented and does not line up with the window on my envelope.  (The customer names lines up)  Is there any way to change the font on my company name?  I was able to customize my invoices and add a logo but don't see any options for statements.  It is frustrating the amount of money we pay for desktop we should be able to do something simple like change the font.

I'm happy to provide some info for customizing customer statements in your QuickBooks Desktop account.

This can be done in a few steps. Here's how:

  1. Go to Customers, then select Create Statements.
  2. Choose the appropriate A/R account.
Note: QuickBooks displays the A/R Account field ONLY when your Chart of Accounts contains more than one A/R.
  3. Check the statement date.
  4. Select the date period of the transactions.
Note: You can specify the dates, or you can include all open (unpaid) transactions as of the statement date.
  5. Select the customers you want to print statements for.
  6. Select Additional options, then Customize.
  7. Choose Create New Design to customize the font, colors, and grid styles.
  8. Select Print or E-mail depending on how you want to send the statements to your customers.

The following article provides additional info about creating and sending customer statements in QuickBooks Desktop.

Please don't hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions. I'll be here to lend a hand.

Thank you!  That worked.  I clicked on that, but I thought it was a paid upgrade to change the font and add a logo.  Thanks again
