Duplicating an invoice does not copy all line-items.

In the past when I would duplicate an invoice, all line-items were copied. Now when I duplicate an invoice, only the first line-item is being copied and the rest is omitted. Why?

Let’s try some troubleshooting steps so you can duplicate your invoice, Mark.

 

You can logging out of your QuickBooks account and then logging back in to refreshes your session and resolves some issues that may interfere with normal functionality. After logging back in, try duplicating the invoice again.

 

If the issue persists, try logging in using a different supported browser to see if the issue still occurs and make sure your browser is up to date. Switching browsers can help rule out compatibility issues or problems related to your current browser’s settings, cache, or cookies.

Hi Heide, thanks for your suggestions, but unfortunately it didn´t solve the problem. Standard I use Chrome, but both Incognito mode and using Firefox give the same result: when duplicating the invoice only the first line-item is being copied.

Let me know if you have more suggestions.

Since the troubleshooting steps my colleague provided didn't work, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team for further assistance. They'll be able to review your account with you and figure out why this is happening. Here's how:

Same issue here with Self Employed... Only the first line is duplicated.  Even the preview is out of order.  Tried different browsers, clearing cache, different computers, different networks, same results.  This was last month.  Still having the same issue this month and the Quickbooks bots seem to be replying with the same response.

With that recent cost increase maybe hire more live techs instead of implementing more AI?
