Importing customer statement charges from a file

We've got you covered, I'll be sharing some insights to help you import customer statement charges from a file in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

We currently do not have the option to import customer statement charges from a file in QBDT. However, as a workaround you can manually add a statement charge by following these steps to complete your task:

1. Go to Customers, then select Enter Statement Charges.
2. From the Customer: Job dropdown, choose the name of your customer or job.
3. You can modify the date of the statement charge if you need to.
4. In the Item field, input the item you use to track this kind of charge.

Note: You can adjust the description or amount of an item if necessary.

5. Enter the quantity in the Qty field and click Record.

Similarly, in QuickBooks Online (QBO), the ability to import customer statement charges from a file is not available. You can find some frequently asked questions about importing data to QBO to learn more about what information can be imported.
